In honor of Earth Day on Wednesday (04/22/09), I thought it would be fun to have a GO GREEN GIVEAWAY! We all LOVE Salads especially as the weather heats up. We marinate our chicken breasts in them, use them on sandwiches, and dip our afternoon veggie snacks in this awesome goodness! :) I'm always happy when Whole Foods has them on sale 2/$5!

ReplyDeleteAnd for a second entry, I would use the Roasted Red pepper as a marinade for chicken. I think it would be really good with stuffed chicken breast, maybe stuffing the chicken with laughing cow and sun-dried tomatoes!

And also Goddess intrigues me and I have heard a lot about it.
I would also use the dressing for marinades (especially boneless, skinless chicken breasts and tilapia) and also for a little flavoring in stir fry's. Yum!

ReplyDeleteGoddess please! I've never tried it. And balsamic vinaigrette is always a fave and the gingerly lite vinaigrette sounds amazing as well!
ALSO- I use ginger salad dressing to marinate tofu in for a delicious dinner! YUM

I looooooove the Lite Raspberry Vinaigrette. I have tried another brands, but like this one the best. Sadly, I have yet to try any other flavors. They all sound awesome, but I have been wanting to try the Organic Asian Sesame and Goddess.

A cool way to use Organic Asian Sesame - toss with Mann's broccoli slaw, raisins, and a few chopped peanuts!

ReplyDeleteI'd use the lemon and chive at the end of sauteing chicken, I find if you add them at the end it adds a lot more flavor and it makes the chicken even juicier. I've tried this with tofu too...just as good :)

ReplyDeleteI use vinegar-based dressings for marinating meat for stir fry or grilling! My dad always did this when I was growing up...and he'd also use a little bit on hot steamed veggies (corn, green beans, carrots, etc.) Delish!
