Ok, I'll be honest - not too sure what the holiday is all about but it is just one of those random facts that has stuck in my brain ever since I first heard someone say May 1st is May Day! So, there you have your fun fact for Friday :D
May starts another new challenge for me as part 5 of my 12 month New Year's Resolutions. This month I am soooo lucky, I get to focus on doing 100 crunches a day - yahoo! Now, I may miss a day or two here or there, but, at the end of the month I will have done 3,100 situps - an awesome way to get ready for SUMMER! I may have to throw some more push-ups in there from April too.
I tried something new this morning that I saw on someone's blog yesterday - I added cinnamon to everything! I LOVE cinnamon and never thought of adding it to my greek yogurt. It's awesome and adds a little sweet spiciness.
3/4 cup TJ's Fat Free Greek Yogurt
1/2 c berries
Sprinkles of organic unsweetened coconut & cinnamon
Delish!
I pretty much always include it in my oats as well.
1/3 c Quaker Old Fashioned Oatas
2/3 c water
1/2 c berries
1 Tbsp Roasted Walnuts (Microwave for 1:30-2:00 & they taste great!)
Sprinkles of organic unsweetened coconut & cinnamon
This was such a fun breakfast to eat! All together with some half caf coffee & a Nathan Bottle Full of water.
This morning I had some fun with my Nathan Bottle that I had to share with you all. I test it out to see if it was spill proof as they claim.
No drips or leaks!!! - how cool is that?! I will say I did take a sip and tested that out and the water did stay in the straw/spilled out, but, only the little bit that I didn't slurp up. I LOVE my new Nathan Bottle.

I also have found if you drink through a straw, you actually drink more throughout the day ~ another awesome way to get in that H2O requirement.
